Advanta-STAR Automotive Research has been providing unparalleled comprehensive consumer research since 1991. As an independent source of information, Advanta-STAR has no ties to any manufacturer or distributor. In fact, we provide data for over thirty-nine different Makes and over three hundred-fifty different Models!

The information we provide is gathered from over eighty-five reliable sources. More than twenty periodicals, such as Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Consumer Reports and Road & Track, provide much of the third-party data we use. We also reference many government and insurance sources, such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Finally, our own representatives, completing the data gathering process, perform first-hand evaluations and investigations. The information is then disseminated in a consistent "feature-benefit" format that’s easy for you to use.
